Oh for the love of pete! Everyone hates it, you hate it, i hate it, hell, your grandmammie hates it. Mental blocks, they suck! I can't think of a damn thing to color, how to color, if i wanna color, shit. I HAVE been wanting to paint a picture of Pennywise from the stephen king novel, IT. But I just can't put digital paint to canvas. So hopefully soon I'll get out of this rut, and I can go back to giving you, whoever watches me (or whoever gives a shit to read these journals, lol) something new to look at.

Oh man, why do I feel like I'm cheating on a beloved girlfriend? Lol. Man oh man, I've been putzing around with Painter X recently, really getting into it, and...somewhat sadly, I think I might have to move to that as my main paint program. The reason I feel bad is cause I've used JASC Paint Shop Pro 8 for so many years, and I know I'm not one of the last people to use it, but probably one of the few that can use it well, lol. I'm not being conceited, just...well, truthful. There are a few things that PSP 8 does alot better than Painter X, but..Painter X does the one thing that I want really in a paint program...Decent smudging. I know, it sounds stupid, but when ya get down to the nitty gritty, it merges the colors a hundred times better than psp 8. And the multitude of brush settings painter gives...well, it spanks psp 8, hands down. But the trouble is, I spent YEARS learning the ins and outs of psp 8, and now while it might not take me as long to get used to painter x, it means totally relearning my method of how I paint and such. I don't know why this is bothering me so much, but it is. Psp 8 has treated me great over the years (except for the crashes, they sucked balls), so...I don't know, I'm just rambling now I guess, lol. This is the same prob I had switching from psp 7 to 8 (I know, sounds stupid, but I was 15 and well, being a teenager sucked super pig balls for me).

God, am I pooped! I have been coloring non-stop for like the last week every moment I'm awake...Except on the can, where I read. Who doesn't? Anyways, I am seriously speeding up my linearts, and I discovered a new little trick I learned from watching TheNass's video tutorial out of boredom I had downloaded on my laptop. Even though I used it a little bit, it saved me about 30 minutes overall. I only used it on small details, but it helped. I must also think Kaze-Hime for making the tutorial of how to make a leaf brush. This may seem laughable to people who don't do backgrounds or people who...well...Draw their backgrounds by hand, lol. Yeah, I ain't lying, I am pooped. Hell, I'm almost to pooped to poop, hehe. Everyone out there who does take the time and make a tutorial, you all should be proud of yourselves. I know probably none of them will see my sight, but you are appreciated, even if you do not see it.

Good god, it feels like it's been a month since I posted that damn Piccolo pic, and it's been only 4 days. Eeeesh. Well, it's my birthday today, and I'm already a quarter century old. But with how my body is, it feels like I am in my late 50's -.-. Might be why it feels like an eternity, lol.
