I don't think I've ever spent this much time on a background as I have this. I used a few tutorials by some people to help me teach a few things. I can't remember who's technique I used to make the clouds, but I remember Kaze-Hime giving me the technique to make the leaf brush, and that is one of my biggest problems when it comes to making backgrounds...Other than buildings, rubble, etc etc, that I have to draw myself, lol. I really hate leaving blank backgrounds.
Lineart: windriderx23 Colors: A very tired monkey, Solbet
*Edit* I had to fix the fracken inks to not appear jagged and and splotchy on the outside (and insides) of the lines, reason why the flannel shirts lines seem alot thinner than before. I just had to fix it, it irritated me so much >_<! Not many probably noticed it, but I did, and had to fix it. It messed up the backgrounds and made the other colors run a bit into everything else.
You've definitely captured her personality and the comic-book style-- I love the detailing you put into her clothes! And the colors in the background are just gorgeous
